Apologies to everyone for the latest orders delay, it has been a Bank Holiday Monday and i am also babysitting due to the School Half Term break. I will try to run to the Post Office tomorrow morning and send all packages that hasn’t been sent yet.
I did some changes regarding the postage of multiple sets (UI+RF+LCD). Now i can send those internationally as small parcel, still Tracked and Signed, but as low as 14 GBP. I have added an extra button on the Order page to all this. So from now on, if multiple sets are needed, clicking the Extra Sets button will add 4 GBP to the postage (together with International Shipping).
While watching those Kenwood TS-990 videos on YouTube i got that need to try and make something similar. The real question was if possible on modest hardware. After some time of research and testing, i have the s-meter that emulates analog unit more or less working. Lots more optimizations, testing and improvements are needed off course. The load of the CPU (stmf429) is small due to the use of the DMA2D, LTDC accelerators and external SDRAM. But still not clear if will be the same when adding spectrum display, waterfall and some real time DSP processing.
